ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 2003 and accredited to the NBA until 2026. The department has 29 teaching staff members and 8 technical assistants. Out of which, 20 have completed the Ph.D., and the remaining 9 are pursuing a PhD. The department is recognized as a research center, and 15 staff members have Anna University-recognized supervisorship, and 8 scholars are pursuing PhDs under our research center. Our staff members have published more than 100 research articles in SCI/SCIE-indexed journals and more than 70 research articles in SCOPUS- indexed journals.
